Alchemy No. 2 is springtime in a cup – a refreshing, bright blend of gunpowder green tea, snappy lemongrass, and earthy tarragon. It’s got all the fresh, crisp greenness you need after a long winter.
This limited-edition brew is great hot or iced, sweetened or not. We particularly like it with a touch of honey. The citrusy nature of the lemongrass means that adding dairy may not be the best idea.
Flavor Profile
Herbal, citrusy, bright and refreshing.
Preparation
Brew with water that’s been allowed to cool slightly from the boil (160-175F) for 2-3 minutes. Pairs well with sugar and honey, but not recommended with dairy. Also delicious iced.
4oz of loose-leaf tea makes approximately 30-40 cups.

I opened the bag of tea, and immediately decided I wanted it for a perfume – I don’t think I’ve enjoyed the scent of a tea more. The flavor wasn’t nearly as strong as the scent, unfortunately – I do like my teas fairly strong and think I would have enjoyed a bit more lemongrass flavor – but it is a very nicely flavored tea, and probably well balanced for those who prefer not to have to subdue their tea before drinking it.
