Description
After Tea Noir’s Tea Mistress moved to Vermont, she was so inspired by her new digs that she disappeared into the Tea Lab and didn’t come back until this brew was complete.
Now Tea Noir is pleased to introduce Backwoods, an ode to Vermont in autumn. Blending sweet, distinct maple and tasty black walnuts, one sip will transport you to the countryside. Yum!
Backwoods is great black, but it’s simply amazing with cream and a hint of sugar – or, better yet, a drizzle of maple syrup in the cup!

The name is so appropriate – I can completely imagine sitting around a campfire drinking this tea! A touch of milk makes this a great breakfast tea. The walnut flavor helps calm the sweet of the maple, but does not make the tea acidic.

One of my favorite teas of all time! A unique, delicious, smooth blend that is lovely for breakfast, or after dinner if you don’t mind a little caffeine.
