Tea Noir’s rooibos chai is a devilishly spicy brew that’s just as satisfying as black masala chai, but without the caffeine.

The base for this blend is premium rooibos – the needle-like reddish leaves of a South African bush. Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and has an absolutely addictive sweet flavour. Red Hot takes that initial delicate sweetness and follows it up with a blast of spice – cinnamon, anise, ginger, and cayenne.

The result is a brew that starts mellow and sweet, but finishes with a heck of a kick.

Be careful when you’re opening this one, kids – the cayenne will do a number on your sinuses if you get a whiff of it. The spice isn’t overwhelming in the cup, though – it’s just the right amount of heat at the end of your sip. Red Hot is different than any chai you’ve ever tried, and you’re going to love it.

Red Hot is great hot or iced, sweetened or not. Remember, though, that rooibos is naturally touched with sweetness – you can go easy on the sugar and honey with this one.
